Restaurant Week 02/18/2019 Does your town or one near by, have a restaurant week? We have a few each year and I must say it's a great opportunity to try some new restaurants at a very reasonable price. The Triangle area had their winter restaurant week in late January. We managed to hit 4 for dinner and one for lunch. The concept behind it is that the restaurants offer 2 or 3 course lunches for $10 or $15 and 3 course dinners for $30 or $35. Stay tune for pictures on comments on my adventures of the week.

In and around Raleigh, North Carolina 01/15/2019 We visited an old favorite on Saturday night and as it did not disappoint. It had been a few months since we were at The Stanbury at 938 N. Blount Street. If you weren't looking for it you might drive right by. It's in the middle of a neighborhood but so worth stopping. I personally would not go without a reservation. You often even have to wait for a seat at the bar on weekends.
